This page summarizes Atlanta Civic Site content about School Readiness.

The School Readiness Team tries to make sure that families have access to quality early care and education experiences. To do this, Quality Care for Children uses the nationally recognized Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) to find out how well children are developing in terms of various social, fine and gross motor and educational milestones. The Team is also providing Parents As Teachers, Play & Learn, technical assistance for both formal and Family, Friend and Neighbor care providers.
